hunting background in industrial, facilities services, etc. Do you
have a strong business development outside sales background with a
proven sales process? Are you entrepreneurial spirited and looking
to build out a region? Client Details My client is a market leader
in organic waste collection and services to transform waste into
renewable energy. They have a one of a kind business model and
outstanding investment from a world renowned investment firm. They
are at the forefront of the green revolution with no cap in sight.
They more than doubled their headcount in 2022 which they have
maintained and continue to expand in 2023, 2024 & 2025. They are
seeking a territory based New Business development role for the
Salt Lake City region. This is an exciting time to join an amazing
company. Description Key Responsibilities: Market Expansion:
Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the
assigned territory. 100% new business & greenfield role. Call and
set in person client meetings with facilities managers and other
relevant stakeholders locally to discuss their waste / recycling
plans. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential
clients, partners, and stakeholders in the renewable energy
industry. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to devise
strategies for market expansion. Business Development: Present our
renewable energy solutions and services to potential clients.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and
develop tailored proposals. Negotiate contracts and agreements to
secure new partnerships and projects. Project Management: Oversee
the successful execution of projects within the territory, ensuring
they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with
cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and
services to clients. Monitor project performance, resolve any
issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed about local and national regulations related to
renewable energy and ensure that all projects comply with these
regulations. Assist clients in navigating the permitting and
regulatory processes. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate
records of all sales activities, project progress, and client
communications. Prepare regular reports on the status of projects,
sales performance, and market insights. Profile Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a relevant field (e.g., Business,
Environmental Sciences, Engineering, etc.). Proven experience in
business development, sales, or project management in the waste,
recycling or renewable energy sector. Experience in Organic Waste,
Renewable Energy, Recycling Programs a huge plus. Specific
experience within waste management is a huge plus. Client is open
to business development / outside sales background within
industrial, facilities services, etc. Ability to cold call and set
in person meetings. Ability to drive and meet with clients within
region (1 hour) in person. Self sufficient, ability to manage your
own schedule, set meetings, travel as needed, and maintain admin
and follow up. Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies,
regulations, and industry trends. Excellent communication and
presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a
team. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt
to changing market conditions. Willingness to travel within the
assigned territory as required. Job Offer Offer: - Remote role in
the Salt Lake City Region with travel across region - $100-115k
base salary uncapped performance based variable ($50k min expected)
