Job Description Job Description Night Shift Lead / Forklift Driver Challenger Pallet Challenger Pallet is looking for a dependable Night Shift Lead / Forklift Driver to oversee a small crew operating a pallet nailing machine and performing other production tasks. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working independently, keeping production on track, and leading by example. Position Overview The Night Shift Lead works with a small team to safely and efficiently produce pallets during evening operations. This role includes operating a forklift, supporting the nailing machine, and serving as the primary point of responsibility on shift. Schedule Night shift 3:30 - 8:00 PM Part-time (potentially becoming Full-Time as demand grows) Key Responsibilities Lead and support a small production crew on night shift Operate a forklift to move materials and finished pallets Assist with and monitor pallet nailing machine operations Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety procedures are met Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate issues to management Maintain a clean and organized work area Oversee all operations during the evening shift Report to Plant Manager daily. Qualifications Forklift experience required (certification preferred) Bilingual in English and Spanish is required Prior manufacturing, pallet, or lumber industry experience strongly preferred Leadership or lead experience is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety Able to lift, stack, and work in a physical production environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Small-team environment where your role matters Opportunity to take ownership of the shift
