This role is based in Salt Lake City, UT and has a hybrid work model.Job SummaryProvide expert level design and development expertise to the creation and maintenance of software products including applications, web pages, client portals, databases, reports and queries, and other products as requested. Interfaces with clients, customers, and internal users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deploy solutions. Trains other team members and provides technical leadership in design and development matters. Helps develop and support software development best practices. This role operates on a hybrid work model.Major Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, reusable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Lead the implementation of complex features and resolve high-impact technical issues.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design principles.
• Optimize system performance and scalability through code and architecture improvements.
• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and UX/UI.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers through technical challenges.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Share knowledge and promote continuous learning within the team.
• Take ownership of technical aspects of projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Break down complex tasks into smaller, manageable components for the team.
• Identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate them during project planning.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve processes, tools, and overall codebase quality.
• Promote the adoption of new tools, frameworks, or methodologies to enhance development efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
  Education and/or Experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, particularly Next.js/Electron.js and React Router, with a strong understanding of routing, server-side rendering, and performance optimization
  • Skilled in building responsive, pixel-perfect UI layouts using Tailwind CSS based on Figma designs, with a strong focus on cross-device compatibility and responsiveness
  • Proficient in TypeScript, with a solid grasp of type safety, interfaces, and modern JavaScript patterns
  • Strong expertise in cloud-based deployment and integration workflows across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and environment configuration
  • Expertise in implementing advanced data fetching patterns such as caching, revalidation, prefetching, and streaming with tools like React Query
  • Experienced in front-end architecture design, including component structure, state management, and scalable code organization
  • Experienced in evaluating, integrating, and extending third-party component libraries to align with design systems and performance standards
  • Provided technical mentorship to Mid and Junior level Front End developers, fostering growth through guidance, feedback, and collaborative development practices
  • Version Control: Expertise with Git and branching strategies.
  • Testing: Proficient in unit testing, integration testing, and working with testing frameworks.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Experience leading teams or managing technical projects.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience, including relevant boot camps and industry certifications).Physical Requirements/Essential Job Functions
