Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shifts at our
state-of-the-art facilities. This role is crucial in providing
expert respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic
respiratory disorders. Our not-for-profit health system is

services. Assess patient respiratory conditions by performing
diagnostic tests and evaluating results. Administer treatments and
respiratory therapies according to physician orders and established
protocols. Operate and monitor respiratory equipment to ensure
proper functioning and patient safety. Educate patients and
families on the management of respiratory illnesses, including the
use of medications and respiratory equipment. Document patient care
and respond to changes in patient conditions. Collaborate with
healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans. Ensure compliance
with health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe therapeutic
environment. Proficiency in the use of respiratory care equipment
and diagnostic tools. Strong analytical skills to assess conditions
and implement appropriate treatments. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of
a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of health safety standards and
protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Utah. BLS
(Basic Life Support) Certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support) Certification preferred.
