Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare is seeking an experienced Outpatient
Pediatric Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our Diabetes Clinic
team. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant
impact on the health and well-being of pediatric patients with
diabetes. The ideal candidate will develop personalized nutrition
plans, provide dietary counseling, and work closely with a
multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care tailored to
pediatric patient needs. Assess nutritional needs and develop
individualized dietary plans for pediatric patients with diabetes.
Educate patients and their families on proper nutritional
management and its impact on diabetes. Collaborate with physicians,
nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate dietary
plans with overall medical care. Participate in research and stay
updated on the latest trends in pediatric nutrition and diabetes
management. Document patient progress and adjust nutritional
strategies as needed based on ongoing evaluations. Advocate for
behavioral health changes in patient lifestyle as part of holistic
patient care. Advanced knowledge of dietary management and
nutritional counseling for diabetic pediatric patients. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate
effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Proficient in
using dietary assessment tools and software. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered
Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentialed by the Commission on
Dietetic Registration (CDR). Certification as a Certified Diabetes
Educator (CDE) is preferred but not required.
