Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer
to join our team in a dynamic clinic setting. As part of a leading
not-for-profit health system in Utah, you will have the opportunity
to work alongside top professionals in the field, utilizing
innovative practices to provide preventative care, diagnosis, and
treatment to athletes and patients engaged in physical activity.
This role is ideal for those passionate about sports medicine and
helping others achieve their best physical health. Evaluate and
assess injuries to determine appropriate treatment or referral to
healthcare professionals. Design and implement comprehensive
rehabilitation and conditioning programs for injured athletes and
patients. Educate patients and athletes on injury prevention,
conditioning, and rehabilitation. Maintain accurate records of
patient care, condition, progress, and concerns. Consult and
collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to
provide the highest standard of care. Provide emergency or
continued care and refer athletes to appropriate medical
professionals as required. Strong understanding of biomechanics,
anatomy, and physiology Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
regarding the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletes
Proficient in the use of therapeutic modalities and exercise

Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) Licensed as an
Athletic Trainer in the state of Utah
