Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shifts. This vital
role entails providing top-tier respiratory care services at our
state-of-the-art facilities, reflecting our commitment to
pioneering healthcare innovations and excellence in patient care.
Our therapists are crucial in managing ventilator support,
administering inhalants, assessing patient conditions, and
participating in clinical decision-making across diverse patient
populations—from neonates to the elderly. Assess, diagnose, and
treat patients with cardiac and pulmonary disorders. Perform
therapeutic procedures such as ventilator management, airway
management, and aerosol medication administration. Regularly
consult with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and
modify patient care plans. Maintain patient records and prepare
clinical notes. Provide emergency care, including artificial
ventilation and external cardiac massage. Proficient in using
respiratory care equipment and tools. Strong understanding of
health and safety guidelines. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in high-stress
environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Current state license
as a Respiratory Therapist.
