join our Sentinel Mission Defense Team as a Consulting Cyber
Engineer / Chief Engineer based out of Roy, UT. As a Consulting
Cyber Engineer / Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a

Engineering best practices, Model-based Engineering, and Agile
practices we continue to evolve how we deliver critical national
defense products and capabilities for the warfighter. Our success

collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on
enabling top tier Cyber Systems Engineering execution across
multiple life-cycle phases of the Sentinel program. What You'll Get
To Do: In this role, you will demonstrate a broad skill set
balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities, with the
ability to technically lead in a team environment and collaborate
across the organization and multiple core stakeholders as required
to accomplish team goals. You will provide Systems Engineering
recommendations and be accountable for the planning and execution
of Cybersecurity Systems Engineering efforts for complex software
and hardware airborne vehicle and ground systems. Work location
will be on-site at the Roy, Utah facility. Job Responsibilities:
Partner with the Cybersecurity Program Management team in executing
the statement of work, cost, schedule and scope including technical
decision-making to ensure timely, high quality product deliveries
and flight test events geared to meet mission requirements Partner
and collaborate with the program Office of Chief Engineers to
accomplish program requirements and meet mission objectives Lead a
team of specialized Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS)
Cybersecurity Systems Engineers in the development and enhancement
of the Sentinel system Lead an extended team of US Government,
NGMS, Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), and supplier
cybersecurity practitioners across multiple program locations as
the Cybersecurity Chief Engineer Ensure weapon system compliance
with all contractually obligated cybersecurity standards and
guidance, including but not limited to CNSSI 1253, DoD 8140/8570,
DoD 8510, and AFI 17-101 Prioritize, Develop and document technical
standard engineering processes and procedures as needed Lead team
reviews of technical content for engineering review boards related
to requirements, design, quality, technical accuracy, and
correctness prior to higher engineering review boards. Lead
cybersecurity assessment activities, as well as team reviews of
cybersecurity assessment methods, plans, procedures, and reports
Report ing metrics and progress toward program milestones; monitor
adherence to cybersecurity-relevant plans and schedules; identify
risks, and recommend solutions to challenges such as allocation of
resources or adapting to changing contractual specifications Apply
analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or
studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of
Cybersecurity implementation Solve complex problems across
disciplines in an Agile execution framework Demonstrate expert
level communication (written and oral), negotiation and
interpersonal skills at levels up through the executive ranks both
internally and externally Calmly negotiate challenging program
requirements, strategies, and conflicting equities among a large
and diverse group of program stakeholders Collaborate with program
managers and System Program Office (SPO) customer representatives
to meet program objectives Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree
in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other
technical/science discipline with 16 years of relevant experience;
Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or
other technical/science discipline with 14 years of relevant
experience; PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or
other technical/science discipline with 11 years of relevant
experience Advanced knowledge of Cybersecurity Systems Engineering
practices, network technologies, DoD system development life cycles
and methodologies, and insight into information technology
infrastructure management/monitoring and applications for very
large scale development programs At least 10 years proven
experience in a Systems Engineering leadership role with schedule,
cost and scope responsibilities. Experience in the planning,
designing, implementation, testing, and delivery of a system with
Cyber Systems Engineering requirements A current/active DoD Secret
clearance The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret w/SCI
clearance The ability to obtain and maintain a SAP approval Ability
to obtain, within 6 months or less of hire, full DoD 8140
qualification in the IASAE 3 role, including required Cybersecurity
certifications Preferred Qualifications: A current/active DoD Top
Secret clearance Briefed to the Sentinel program Expertise with all
aspects of Systems Security Engineering as defined in NIST SP
800-160 Experience with DoD Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile
(ICBM) systems Experience with High Assurance design and
engineering efforts Expertise with Model-Based System Engineering
(MBSE) and related tools such as DOORS, Cameo, etc. Expertise with
containerized software systems in accordance with DoD DevSecOps
Reference Design and a demonstrated ability to manage and direct
efforts following an Agile and DevSecOps process model Experience
developing basis of estimate for bidding new work scope, developing
Statements of Work, and a track record of successfully analyzing,
estimating, and implementing solutions to complex problems spanning
multiple engineering disciplines Experience innovating in
Cybersecurity Accreditation processes and procedures in a
multi-certification (Cyber, Nuclear Surety, etc.) context as part
of a Digital Engineering Environment What We Can Offer You:

available), and much more! Primary Level Salary Range: $201,400.00
- $302,200.00 The above salary range represents a general
guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors
when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
