Opportunity:Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing
exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering Specialist
you will:
- showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation
for Roche assigned product lines.
- offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned
territory.
- provide routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and
installation of Roche products.
- serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related
issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system
failures.
- document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and
focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.This is a field-based
role. The territory is Utah. Ideal candidate to live within 50
miles of the Salt Lake City International Airport. Travel
Requirements: This position has up to 60% travel requirements. This
includes overnight travel through week - some holidays and weekends
may be required.Who You Are:
- High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or
equivalent military training or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing
mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless
networking OR a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or
related field plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or
servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or
networking/wireless networking
- Successfully training or certification as defined by RD
Services Leadership and policy
- Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, is
requiredPreferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a
relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are
required.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems,
information technology, and basic chemistry.
- The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide
support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong
customer relationships is essential.Relocation benefits are
available for this job postingThe expected salary range for this
position based on the primary location of Utah is $68,900 and
$127,900 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on
experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other
job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus
may be available based on individual and Company performance. This
