Job Description Job Description Salary: Staff Accountant (On-Site) About the Company: We are an established and rapidly growing food service business operating across multiple locations. The company is located in Orem and is mission-driven, quality-focused, and committed to operational excellence while continuing to scale. Role Summary: We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations for a multi-location restaurant business. This role is ideal for someone with foundational accounting experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within the food service and hospitality industry. The Staff Accountant will work closely with senior accounting leadership and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reconciliations, and supporting month-end processes. Key Responsibilities: Import Credit Card (AMEX) transactions for each individual card multiple times per week Match and upload receipts in DoubleHQ (accounting task manager) Enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks Online and match transactions in the bank feed Categorize bank feed transactions, including attaching invoices and allocating costs to the appropriate expense categories Perform account reconciliations as assigned Complete accounting tasks for all company locations. Support month-end close activities and respond to ad hoc accounting requests Requirements: Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress) 13 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in food service, hospitality, or retail Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online Experience working with bank feeds and credit card reconciliations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow established processes and meet recurring deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Double, Bill, or expense management platforms Familiarity with restaurant vendors, POS systems, or multi-location accounting Interest in growing into a senior accounting role over time
